Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the TokenFund platform operated by Hxndrd Holding LLC. By creating an account or using TokenFund in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What TokenFund Does
TokenFund is a platform that connects developers with supporters who want to fund their AI API infrastructure costs. Specifically: • Developers create projects and receive a TokenFund API key • Supporters donate to fund that project's AI usage • The project API key can then be used to make requests to OpenAI or Anthropic through TokenFund's proxy TokenFund is not a bank, digital wallet, escrow service, or financial institution. All funds donated to projects are converted into non-withdrawable platform credits. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred out of the platform.
2. Accounts
To use TokenFund, you must create an account. By doing so, you agree to: • Provide accurate and up-to-date information • Keep your account credentials secure and confidential • Take full responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account You must be at least 13 years old to use TokenFund. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we determine are being used abusively.
3. Platform Credits
When a supporter donates to a project, TokenFund processes the payment via Stripe and converts the net amount into platform credits applied to that project's wallet. The conversion works as follows: • Stripe deducts their payment processing fee (~2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) • TokenFund deducts a 5% platform fee on the remaining amount • The rest is credited to the project's wallet as compute credits Credits: • Are not refundable under any circumstances • Cannot be transferred to another project or account • Cannot be withdrawn as cash or converted to any monetary equivalent • Expire only if your account is terminated or the project is deleted • Are used exclusively to pay for AI API usage costs routed through TokenFund
4. Payments & Donations
All payments are processed by Stripe. By donating to a project, you agree: • Your payment is a voluntary contribution to support that project's API infrastructure • Donations are non-refundable except where required by applicable law • TokenFund does not guarantee any specific outcome, feature delivery, or continued operation of the project you funded • The developer you support is an independent party — TokenFund is not responsible for their project, content, or conduct
5. Acceptable Use
You may not use TokenFund to: • Engage in any illegal activity or violate any applicable law or regulation • Abuse or circumvent rate limits, usage caps, or billing mechanisms • Generate content that is harmful, defamatory, obscene, or violates the acceptable use policies of OpenAI or Anthropic • Misrepresent your project, identity, or intended use to supporters • Attempt to extract, reverse engineer, or tamper with platform infrastructure We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts for any violation of these rules, without notice.
6. Developer Responsibilities
As a developer using a TokenFund API key, you are responsible for: • Keeping your API key confidential and not sharing it publicly • Ensuring your use of AI APIs complies with each provider's terms of service • Accurately representing your project to supporters • The content generated by AI models accessed through your project key TokenFund passes requests through to OpenAI and Anthropic. We are not responsible for the outputs of these models.
7. Service Availability
TokenFund is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free access to the platform or proxy service. We may: • Perform scheduled or emergency maintenance that temporarily interrupts the service • Modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time • Change pricing or fee structures with reasonable notice We are not liable for any losses caused by service interruptions or changes.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TokenFund and its officers, employees, and affiliates are not liable for: • Loss of profits or revenue • Loss of data or content • Service interruptions or downtime • Actions of third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages In cases where liability cannot be fully excluded, TokenFund's total liability is limited to the total amount you have paid to TokenFund in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion: • Your project pages and API keys will be deactivated • Any remaining platform credits will be forfeited and are non-refundable TokenFund may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent behavior, or any other reason we deem necessary to protect the platform or its users.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service as the platform evolves. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we may notify you via email. Continued use of TokenFund after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the courts of California.
